Pikes Peak Christian School (PPCS) is a coeducational school for children three years old through High School. It is associated with the church of Christ and is resident in the Eastside church of Christ building, but it receives no direct financial support from any institution or agency. The school is dependent of income from individual gifts and tuition for operating expenses and the expansion and improvement of the education program and physical facilities.
Pikes Peak Christian School was established as an elementary school in 1986 and is fully accredited by the National Christian School Association.
Pikes Peak Christian School is also licensed by the State Department of Human Services to operate a preschool program.
Testing
Once a year Pikes Peak Christian School administers the Stanford Achievement Test to all students 1st through 12th grades. The results of the testing done in March of 2004, our average student score (PPCS students compared against all other students taking the tests) was 75.1%. Our overall school score (PPCS compared against all other school's average scores) was 87%.
